Desert Orange

5 months later…

Rainforest in February

Don’t mind me, just galavanting through the jungle in the dead of February. Not really, but Ott’s Exotic Plants made me feel like I was in the tropics. I even left with one of my first houseplants (that isn’t a succulent).

Jeans: American Eagle

Faux Leather Jacket: BDG Urban Outfitters

Houndstooth Overcoat: H&M (thrifted from Buffalo Exchange)

Chelsea Boots: Steve Madden from DSW

This outfit shows some layering techniques that are useful for staying bundled. Who ever said you only need to wear one jacket? I like that the lapels of the overcoat and the faux leather are a similar shape, but experiment with what you have!

Once upon a time, middle school me was obsessed with makeup. In its heyday, YouTube was my makeup bible, with beauty YouTubers as its prophets. I still love YouTube, but I usually stick to the essentials for my makeup looks. The sunset oranges and deep reds in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette are so rich and beautiful that I love doing two shadow looks. They seem much more complex than they are.

As for the rest of my face, these products are in my normal routine. The Maybelline Master Chrome is my favorite highlighter. It’s cheap, pigmented, and I always get compliments.
