Pretty in Pink

My current favorite color is light pink.

When I love a color, I want my whole life to reflect it.

I wear pink eye shadow, my dorm room is completely mauve, and my closet becomes a Pantone palette of one color.

Exhibit A is this pink look.

Vintage x Trendy

Fashion is cyclical. The industry is constantly looking at the past for inspiration and modifying it for new generations. The great part about thrifting is that you can find older clothes and pair it with trendier pieces that you already own to mix the old and new.

I took a thrifted button up with a ruffled collar and puffed sleeves and styled it with a pink corduroy shift dress.

The polka dot tights are a fun accessory, so I wore my Chelsea boots from DSW.

I know that I’ve put together a good outfit when I can’t wait to wear it again. This look is a great example of that because I have worn it on multiple occasions this season with my furry black winter coat.
